The Law School collaborates with the Political Science and Economics Departments to enable Ph.D. candidates in these fields to pursue dual enrollment in both their respective department and the Law School. During the first year, students focus solely on law courses, followed by at least one year dedicated entirely to graduate studies in political science or economics. Subsequent years involve coursework from both disciplines. Certain classes are pre-approved by the Law School and the respective departments to fulfill credit requirements for both degrees, reducing the total time needed compared to pursuing each degree separately. Admission to the dual enrollment program requires independent acceptance into both programs.

Qualification Requirements
Each international applicant must hold the equivalent of a U.S. four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited institution to be eligible for graduate admission. While individual departments may have more stringent requirements, bachelor degrees from Bologna Accord certified institutions are considered to meet this criterion. We do also consider Indian three-year degrees to be equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree.
