This Master of Science program prepares students for teaching licensure in their selected specialization and welcomes exceptional candidates with a bachelor's degree (B.A., B.F.A., or B.S.). The curriculum offers focused training in various certification areas, including secondary education (grades 7-12), multi-age instruction (P-12), vocational family and consumer sciences (grades 4-12), and special education (P-3 or K-12). This graduate program awards a Master of Science degree with teaching certification and accepts qualified applicants holding any undergraduate degree. The coursework provides intensive preparation in specific licensure tracks, particularly for secondary education (grades 7-12). All participants must complete a mandatory 16-week student teaching placement as part of their teacher training.
