Students must complete five language-focused courses, including: the introductory foundation course, two mandatory core courses, and a minimum of two electives. At least three courses should be at the 300/400 advanced level. (With the program coordinator's approval, alternative theoretical linguistics courses may replace core requirements.)
Certificate candidates must demonstrate proficiency in a second language through at least two semesters of study. Prospective participants should consult with the coordinator to develop their academic plan.
