Geoscientists specialize in studying Earth's processes, and our program equips students with essential skills for comprehending the Earth System. Graduates can pursue careers in Earth resources, environmental consulting, government agencies, and various other professional fields.
To earn an Environmental Studies Certificate, students must complete the following courses with a minimum 2.0 GPA for official recognition. Applicants must submit a certificate program application for admission. Consult the Center for Environmental Studies Director to design a study plan meeting core requirements and elective options. The program requires completion of core courses plus 11 credits from approved electives or director-approved alternatives, chosen from disciplines outside the student's primary major.
