This hands-on program delivers a robust technical foundation for careers in computer-driven manufacturing settings. Students develop skills to collaborate and communicate effectively with engineers, researchers, and production staff. The curriculum readies graduates for technical, supervisory, and management roles by integrating business classes with materials processing and automation studies.
Upon completion, students earn a Bachelor of Science in Automated Manufacturing Engineering Technology.
Acquire real-world professional experience via UA's optional co-op and placement initiative or an internship. Involvement offers direct, practical training in your selected industry. With co-op, you will rotate between work and academic terms while receiving a competitive income.
Participate in one of UA's acclaimed design competition teams, such as Baja and Formula Combustion, which are favorites among manufacturing engineering technology and mechanical engineering students.
New Freshman
You are a high school student or have completed high school or equivalent and have never enrolled in a college/university. SAT or ACT is not required for standard admission or admission scholarship consideration for all types of applicants. An official SAT or ACT score is required to be considered for direct admission into your intended major.
All undergraduate international applicants must provide proof of English proficiency by meeting the minimum score from one of the following acceptable tests. This requirement can be waived if you meet certain criteria.
