Forensic Chemistry offers numerous career paths in both government law enforcement and private sector laboratories specializing in analysis and equipment. The industry currently faces a significant lack of skilled practitioners. Students completing this program will gain the necessary expertise to either enter forensic careers with little additional training or continue their education at the graduate level.
To earn a Forensic Chemistry degree, students must complete all specified core and supplementary courses outlined below while meeting the university's general education requirements. Students are limited to retaking a maximum of two courses within the Forensic Chemistry program requirements, counting all repeated attempts of individual courses. This restriction applies to both foundational coursework and major-specific classes.
