The LPHT Pathway caters to both aspiring and experienced public health professionals. Full-time learners can complete their degree in just 1.5 years, while part-time students have the flexibility to graduate within 2-5 years. Jefferson's Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH)-accredited MPH program develops LPHT participants into Public Health Transformation Leaders, equipping them to drive meaningful change.
Those pursuing the LPHT Pathway become catalysts for health-focused societal transformation, bridging diverse sectors. The curriculum delivers comprehensive training to integrate biological, social, environmental, economic, and cultural factors affecting health outcomes. This MPH track readies graduates to confront urgent and evolving health challenges. JCPH enhances the LPHT experience through adaptable scheduling and diverse enrichment opportunities, including daytime, evening, and online classes tailored for professionals. Supplementary offerings feature expert speaker events, academic discussion groups, and access to premier population health conferences. LPHT participants also engage in practical fieldwork and collaborate with mentors to develop personalized Capstone Projects addressing their specific public health interests.
The Public Health Policy & Advocacy component empowers students to influence health policies across all governmental levels and global platforms.

Qualification Requirements

Transcripts: Submit official undergraduate and graduate transcripts from all regionally accredited institutions you have attended and/or from which you earned credit.
Personal Statement/Essay: Submit your personal statement/essay to SOPHAS. Use 300-500 words describing your interest in the program. Include your personal experiences and how they relate to your goals and expectations for the program.
Letters of Recommendation: Three letters of recommendation are required. Letters may be from an instructor, employer, volunteer coordinator/supervisor or other qualified individual. Submit letters through SOPHAS.
R'sum: Submit a r'sum or CV in SOPHAS.
Applicants are required to hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution or equivalent upon evaluation of international transcripts prior to the start of the program.
GPA Requirement: A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA is preferred.
