The Hospitality and Retail Management Department provides a wedding and conference planning certificate program to equip students for careers as event coordinators. Participants complete two HRM courses: HRM 4316 - Services Marketing and HRM 4355 - Entrepreneurship in the Services Industry. The program includes two additional classes - Wedding Planning (RHIM 4342 or RETL 4342) and Meeting and Convention Planning (RHIM 4345 or RETL 4345) - which can be taken with either RHIM or RETL prefixes. Students may enroll in these courses in any sequence, provided they fulfill all prerequisite requirements.
