The department provides a non-thesis master's option, which mandates at least 33 approved graduate credit hours (seminar excluded) as determined by the graduate advisor. This non-thesis track is customized to align with each student's academic history, professional experience, and personal goals.
Both thesis and non-thesis students must complete a final comprehensive exam. The departmental graduate advisor can provide details on exam policies. These assessments are administered solely after the graduate dean has granted candidacy status to students.
