The Master of Science in Architecture (M.S.) is an advanced research-focused degree tailored for those pursuing specialized architectural studies. This program does not lead to professional architecture licensure. It's designed for individuals holding an accredited B.Arch. or M.Arch. degree, or an approved bachelor's in architecture or related fields (such as art, interior design, engineering, or archaeology). Applicants without architecture degrees may need to complete preparatory coursework that doesn't count toward graduate credits. The curriculum requires at least 28 graduate credit hours plus a thesis (6 credits) with defense. Admission to the program depends on meeting both the Graduate School's and Huckabee College of Architecture's entry requirements.
