The landscape architecture program aims to propel the field forward via cutting-edge education, research, and community engagement. Our LAAB-accredited Bachelor's (B.L.A.) and Master's (M.L.A.) programs structure learning outcomes across the curriculum to cultivate visionary professionals prepared for licensure and careers in both public and private spheres. The graduate curriculum focuses on semi-arid environments while addressing crucial design and planning challenges for a sustainable, resilient planet with expanding urban areas. Our M.L.A. program provides both entry-level and advanced degree paths, supporting our mission to push landscape architecture forward. The first professional track serves students without prior landscape architecture or design backgrounds seeking licensure, while the post-professional option helps B.L.A. graduates develop specialized expertise or prepare for academic careers. Dedicated faculty advisors guide students in crafting personalized study plans that fulfill both individual aspirations and institutional standards.
