Weekly graduate seminars feature group critiques, slide presentations, technical workshops, and discussions of assigned readings or research materials. Students also receive personalized critiques weekly or as required. The program emphasizes drawing from personal experiences, interests, and surroundings to create unique metalwork expressions. Each student's research focus is collaboratively established with their faculty advisor and the MFA Advisory Committee. Degree completion requires submitting a written report, passing an oral examination, and presenting a public thesis exhibition. Faculty mentors offer the necessary expertise, guidance, and critical perspective to help students reach their artistic aspirations and maximize their creative potential.
