The healthcare landscape is evolving quickly, creating a critical demand for doctors with strong business expertise. To meet this challenge, we've collaborated with Texas Tech Health Sciences Center School of Medicine to create a Health Organization Management (HOM) dual degree option that combines medical and business education. This innovative program lets you obtain both an MD and MBA simultaneously during your four years of medical studies, equipping you with clinical skills and business acumen to tackle healthcare's biggest challenges. The curriculum includes 42 credit hours at Rawls College completed within a year and a half, plus a specialized four-course HOM concentration to deepen your understanding of healthcare systems. The program schedule includes summer classes before and after your first year of med school, complemented by two online courses by your second year's end. Dedicated advisors from both institutions will guide you through all graduation requirements for both degrees.
