The English Ph.D. program expands upon the foundational and specialized expertise gained during master's studies, enabling advanced exploration in literature, linguistics, or creative writing. Participants engage in wide-ranging reading and research to grasp the relationships between texts, methodologies, and perspectives that transcend conventional categories of era, region, and literary form. Additionally, they select and develop specific primary and secondary focus areas while undertaking innovative research at the most rigorous academic level. This dual emphasis aims to equip graduates with the ability to teach across multiple disciplines while generating substantial scholarly work within their chosen specialization.

TOEFL - The minimum TOEFL score required is 550 (paper-based version) or 79 (internet-based version).
