Bachelor's Degree
The Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry program consists of 120 credit hours to graduate, equipping students for advanced studies in biochemistry and similar fields, admission to medical or dental programs, or careers in industrial or government labs where graduate education isn't mandatory. Students can obtain a biology minor by taking one extra biology course beyond the B.S. in Biochemistry requirements (consult the biological sciences undergraduate advisor for details). This supplementary biology course can be chosen from the advanced electives required for the bachelor's degree.
