The M.Acy. program holds accreditation from AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, a mark of excellence in business education for over 100 years. Only about 200 institutions globally achieve dual accreditation in both business and accounting. Leading accounting firms, from the Big-4 to regional practices, regularly recruit our students for internships and permanent roles, with graduates securing positions across public accounting firms and corporations regionally and nationally.
At the McCoy College of Business Department of Accounting, we focus on equipping our diverse student body for professional achievement in today's dynamic global marketplace. Our Master of Accountancy (M.Acy.) program enhances students' knowledge for careers in public accounting while examining how accounting information impacts decision-makers through social, ethical, and environmental lenses. This program fulfills Texas's 150-hour CPA exam requirement and welcomes students from all undergraduate backgrounds.
