Our distinguished faculty, representing varied academic, professional, and cultural backgrounds, maintain active practices and scholarly recognition at regional, national, and international levels. Through outstanding instruction and supportive mentorship within a collaborative environment, we equip students to realize their personal, artistic, and professional aspirations.
The design industry has undergone remarkable expansion in recent years. Beyond traditional visual design roles, Communication Design graduates are increasingly sought after as innovative problem-solvers and strategic thinkers addressing real-world challenges. Whether developing brand identities, digital platforms, marketing materials, public awareness campaigns, or business solutions, our BFA in Communication Design program prepares you to merge creative vision with professional opportunities.
Communication Design majors complement their liberal arts education, foundational art training, and elective coursework with intensive specialization. The program's four core courses establish essential skills for advanced study, culminating in a competitive professional portfolio. Our curriculum cultivates analytical thinkers, bold creators, and persuasive communicators ready for the design industry. Specialized coursework spans digital interfaces, type design, branding systems, sustainable solutions, user experience, spatial graphics, and design methodology. Students can enhance their learning through independent projects, observational experiences, and practical internships.
