The Computer Science Department's goal is to enhance understanding of computing through teaching, research, and community engagement to benefit society. We provide two undergraduate paths: a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and an ABET-accredited Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science (accredited by ABET's Computing Accreditation Commission, www.abet.org). Our curriculum begins with fundamental courses that build strong technical foundations, followed by advanced electives that let students delve into emerging fields matching our research expertise. This prepares graduates for evolving tech industry demands. Alumni pursue careers in various sectors like software engineering, cybersecurity, UI/UX design, AI/data science, and gaming, while others continue to graduate studies for deeper specialization and research opportunities.
