The Department of Rangeland and Wildlife Sciences provides a Master of Science program in Range and Wildlife Management, along with a Ph.D. in Wildlife and Rangeland Sciences.
Wildlife Science research covers diverse subjects including game and non-game species, habitat conservation, disease studies, natural history, and fundamental ecological theories. Experts from the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute are globally acknowledged for their work in natural resource conservation.
To complete the RWSC Master of Science, students must fulfill 30 credit hours, including core subjects, research components, and electives. This includes at least 18 graduate-level RWSC or WSCI credits and six statistics-focused quantitative analysis credits. Note that general electives do not contribute to the required credit total.
