The physics program features courses that establish fundamental knowledge in the discipline. These physics classes also support various academic majors including sciences, mathematics, computer science, engineering, technology, and physical science teaching certification for grades 8-12. Through this curriculum, students acquire comprehensive physics knowledge. They develop proficiency in scientific methodologies, enabling them to design and execute investigations of physical phenomena. Additionally, students learn to effectively convey physics concepts at the undergraduate level through both oral and written communication, with or without technological aids. Graduates earning the Joint BS in Physics will demonstrate thorough comprehension of physics principles and mastery of scientific approaches for analyzing physical systems.
