The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Theatre Program aims to equip students with essential skills for careers as Theatre educators or professionals, or for advanced graduate studies. Our program fosters meaningful experiences that deepen appreciation for Theatre as an expressive and collaborative art form. Graduates earning a BA in Theatre with Teaching Certification will showcase these competencies: Presenting historical and cultural Theatre knowledge during their mandatory faculty exit review. Demonstrating proficiency in historical research and script analysis during the required faculty evaluation. Articulating visual and auditory interpretations of Theatre performances during their final assessment. Students will reference concrete examples from their involvement in University Theatre productions.
