Several faculty members also specialize in control systems, digital signal processing, data communications, and intelligent system applications. Power electronics research covers motor drives, power converters, utility interface challenges, active filters, and electric/hybrid vehicles, with additional faculty interests in power quality and electrical machine diagnostics.
