The Thesis Master's program in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, offered through Texas A&M's Interdepartmental Ecology and Evolutionary Biology initiative, provides hands-on research experience in laboratory or field settings alongside specialized coursework focused on ecological, evolutionary, and genetic/genomic concepts. Graduates will gain hands-on experience with investigative approaches tackling diverse biological questions about organisms, ecosystems, and evolutionary mechanisms. The curriculum covers various analytical methods including statistical modeling, biomolecular analysis, genetic/genomic tools, and ecological experimentation for examining and interpreting data across biological systems. Participants will also refine their scientific writing and presentation abilities to share research findings effectively with both academic peers and broader audiences.
