The Master of Science program demands completion of rigorous coursework and mastery of research techniques. You'll need to design, execute, and evaluate an extensive research study, then present your results in a thesis - a formal academic paper adhering to established scientific standards.
The Agricultural Systems Management MS program at the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering fosters innovative thinking through original research. Participants can choose between thesis and non-thesis degree paths. Specialization areas encompass environmental resources, energy systems, analytical methods, and agricultural processing technologies.
For the thesis-based Master of Science, candidates must undertake sophisticated coursework and develop research expertise. This path involves designing, implementing, and interpreting a substantial research initiative, culminating in a thesis that documents scientifically valid investigation methods.
The Agricultural Systems Management MS also offers a non-thesis alternative. Students pursuing this option will work with an advisory committee comprising at least one graduate faculty member from their primary academic department.
