The call for principled leaders with strong moral character in public service has never been more urgent. In recent years, expectations for transparency and ethical conduct have risen significantly, with no signs of decreasing. The MPSA program cultivates ethical leaders for government and nonprofit organizations, equipping students with essential skills and understanding to navigate complex challenges while maintaining high standards of integrity in an era of evolving public service demands.
The Master of Public Service and Administration (MPSA) is a two-year graduate program comprising 48 credit hours. Candidates lacking significant work experience must fulfill a non-credit internship during the summer between academic years. The program features a foundational core of ten mandatory courses covering critical areas like management, leadership, policy evaluation, and research methodologies. This educational journey concludes with a second-year Capstone project, allowing students to tackle authentic challenges by applying their accumulated knowledge. While some elective courses are available online, students can complete the entire program through in-person instruction.
