The International Development and Economic Policy (IDEP) program prepares students with the knowledge, practical experience, and critical thinking abilities needed for professions in global affairs, economic policy, and international development. This training involves examining systemic racial, ethnic, gender, and class disparities worldwide while empowering students to advance fairness and inclusivity in their professional lives. IDEP curriculum addresses key global challenges such as population movements, crisis relief, food shortages, catastrophe response, worldwide economic integration, commerce, gender and safety, political systems, armed conflicts, and nation reconstruction. Participants will develop foundational economic evaluation capabilities alongside comprehensive frameworks for analyzing international and economic governance strategies.
