The Doctor of Education (EdD) on-campus program in Agricultural Education is a professional qualification aimed at developing leaders for diverse educational environments such as schools, colleges, corporations, government agencies, and military organizations. This practitioner-focused curriculum equips graduates for instructional, supervisory, and administrative roles delivering educational services.
Students admitted with a Master's degree must fulfill 64 credit hours. While distinct from a PhD in education, the EdD maintains comparable admission standards, academic rigor, and comprehensive study expectations. The program seeks candidates who exhibit exceptional professional competence and educational leadership throughout their coursework, specialized studies, internships, and research projects. Only those demonstrating sustained excellence across all program components will be considered for degree conferral. Specific program requirements are outlined below.
