The Polymer Specialty Certificate offers a comprehensive interdisciplinary education for undergraduate engineering students and qualified science majors pursuing careers in polymers. This program aims to equip Texas A&M students with specialized knowledge, shortening the transition period into industrial roles. As the first such program in Texas, it's overseen by the Polymer Technology Consortium. While polymers significantly contribute to Texas' economy, no other state universities currently provide a structured polymer curriculum.
