The Bachelor of Science in Sport Management equips students with the skills needed for administrative and managerial roles across athletic, health, and country club sectors, as well as foundational positions in collegiate and professional sports organizations. This program trains students in various aspects of sports marketing, promotions, sales, market analysis, and fan engagement, while also developing expertise in facility and event coordination, financial oversight, leadership, and business strategy. The coursework remains aligned with industry trends to ensure graduates are well-prepared for the competitive sports field. To complete their degree, students choose from four culminating experiences: (1) an internship, (2) a capstone project, (3) an international program, or (4) undergraduate research. The internship offers hands-on experience and professional connections after coursework. The capstone project serves as a comprehensive academic milestone. The international experience combines academic learning with global exposure. Undergraduate research allows students to pursue independent projects with faculty mentorship. Additionally, students can select a minor from approved disciplines such as business, journalism, or communications to complement their studies.
