The School of Public Health provides a comprehensive 5-year dual degree program combining a Bachelor of Science with a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology.
This 32-credit BS in Public Health/MPH in Epidemiology program goes beyond training future epidemiologists. It prepares graduates to make immediate contributions to the field while developing a holistic perspective on Epidemiology's intersection with medicine, nursing, allied health, and other healthcare disciplines.
The undergraduate portion of the 32-credit program focuses on health promotion and disease prevention strategies to enhance quality of life across individual, family, and community levels. The graduate MPH component is a non-thesis program featuring culminating experiences, including a practical internship showcasing public health problem-solving abilities and an intensive capstone course.
