The joint degree initiative offered by the Political Science Department and The Bush School of Government and Public Service enables Political Science undergraduates to begin their Master of Public Service studies, specializing in Public Policy Analysis, during their senior year at Texas A&M. This curriculum integrates analytical reasoning with practical applications to examine how human behavior influences public policy and administration, while also developing leadership capabilities and research techniques.
Participants must fulfill identical course requirements as all Bush School MPSA candidates. Upon graduation, students gain qualifications for diverse career paths such as positions in municipal, state, or national government agencies, non-governmental organizations, or public sector consulting firms.
