The Electronic Systems Engineering Technology (ESET) program equips graduates for roles in developing electronic products and systems for various sectors, including medical, computer, power, automotive, oil and gas, information/communication technologies, and quality of life industries. In addition to a solid technical education that leads to engineering and technology jobs, graduates are also well-suited for technical sales and project management positions. The ESET curriculum starts with a foundation in engineering mathematics and science, followed by a core technical sequence covering analog and digital electronics, embedded systems design, software development in C and assembly language, wired/wireless communications, electronics testing, statistical tools for engineers, and instrumentation and control systems. Students engage in multiple open-ended projects throughout their studies, designing, implementing, testing, and evaluating hardware and software systems.
