The Bachelor of Arts in Geology equips students with the expertise to analyze Earth systems and the relationship between human activities and geological processes. This BA program caters to students aiming to apply geological principles in diverse fields including environmental law, science communication, non-profit work, business ventures, K-12 science instruction, natural resource management, sustainability initiatives, environmental assessment, wildlife preservation, public health, policy development, and government service. The B.A. in Geology also enables students to create an interdisciplinary program by pairing geological studies with complementary fields like biology, anthropology, and social sciences, laying the groundwork for advanced interdisciplinary studies.

Students will enhance their geology curriculum with specialized theme courses tailored to their professional aspirations. These thematic electives prepare learners for graduate programs and careers that value geological and STEM knowledge.
