Earning a Biology degree with a focus on General Biology or Cellular and Molecular Biology demands completion of 122 semester hours, including 45 credits in biology coursework. The program also includes 43 credits of General Education, 20 credits covering General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Biochemistry, 8 credits of Physics, and either 3 credits of Math 1720 or above (for General Biology) or Math 1910 (for Cellular and Molecular Biology). Students must complete 15 credits of upper-level electives (such as PSYC 3410). Note that Biology courses with grades below C will not count toward departmental requirements.
