The Master of Science in Information Technology Auditing and Cyber Security (MS ITACS) equips students for careers in IT risk management, cybersecurity, and information systems auditing across business and critical infrastructure sectors recognized by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. This STEM-aligned program follows the ISACA Model Curriculum for Information Security Audit and Control, allowing graduates to apply one year of work experience toward the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) credential. MS ITACS students complete five core courses in IT governance and risk management, plus specialized courses in either Information Technology Auditing or Cyber Security. The IT Auditing track concludes with a capstone course preparing students for CISA certification, while the Cyber Security track's capstone leads to Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, contingent on work experience. Students meeting prerequisites may take courses from both concentrations.
