The M.S. in Hospitality Management aims to cultivate skilled professionals specializing in marketing, operations, and event coordination within the hospitality sector. This program equips graduates with the expertise to become effective managers, marketers, and strategists across public, private, and corporate environments. Designed to foster mid-level and future senior leadership roles, the curriculum combines hands-on management practices with essential theoretical principles unique to the hospitality profession. Unlike general management programs, it features an industry-focused core. Those pursuing doctoral studies may explore the Ph.D. in Business Administration with a Tourism and Sport specialization through the Fox School of Business and Management. Graduates often secure positions in areas like event coordination, hotel marketing and operations, resort management, restaurant administration, and convention venue leadership. Upon admission, candidates are automatically evaluated for merit-based scholarships from STHM, which consider academic achievements and professional background.
