The Career and Technical Education master's program aims to equip students with the skills to teach in Pennsylvania's K-12 public schools by helping them earn teaching credentials. The curriculum covers youth development, instructional methods, and inclusive education approaches. Students develop techniques to modify lessons for diverse learners with different backgrounds, skill levels, and language abilities. Two specialization tracks are available. The general program prepares graduates to teach vocational subjects effectively in grades 7 through 12, providing adaptable teaching strategies for various technical education settings. Graduates pursue careers in secondary education, community college instruction, and corporate training development. The Business, Computer and Information Technology concentration trains educators to teach all business-related subjects, from digital technologies to financial literacy and management principles. Graduates teach at K-12 and college levels or deliver professional business training. The Marketing Education specialization develops skilled marketing instructors, preparing them for school teaching positions, corporate training roles, and marketing program development across different business sectors.
