Often regarded as the cornerstone of science, chemistry plays a fundamental role in contemporary life. Many aspects of modern technology rely so heavily on chemical advancements that people frequently assume continuous innovation is guaranteed. Yet without ongoing chemical breakthroughs, we wouldn't see progress in pharmaceuticals, agricultural chemicals, or electronic devices. This five-year dual degree program - combining a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a Master of Education in Secondary Education - offers teacher certification through collaboration between the College of Science and Technology and the College of Education.
