The Acting Concentration equips students with essential creative communication and artistic leadership abilities to achieve their career aspirations. Through hands-on experience in productions ranging from minimalist to full-scale, along with rigorous training in acting techniques, movement, vocal skills, text interpretation, and other disciplines, students cultivate the competencies required for success. The curriculum delivers top-tier training within a liberal arts framework, preparing graduates to excel in theater, television, film, or advanced academic programs. Temple's Acting Program establishes a strong artistic base while creating pathways to either professional work or graduate studies. Our alumni have gained national recognition as skilled, committed performers possessing the technical abilities, professional discipline, and creative vision needed for sustainable careers. Admission to the Acting Concentration requires an audition with the acting faculty, and applicants must first gain acceptance to Temple University before being considered for the program. Enrollment is exclusively available to current Temple students or admitted applicants.
