The Media Studies and Production (MSP) program goes far beyond conventional communications or broadcasting degrees, equipping students for today's non-stop media landscape. By blending media theory with hands-on production, MSP ensures graduates understand both the principles and practices behind media work, giving them a competitive edge. Since media constantly evolves, the MSP curriculum prepares students not just for current opportunities but also for emerging roles that haven't been created yet. Leveraging the country's fourth-largest media market as our training ground, we provide professional skill development and networking opportunities from day one, fostering adaptable future leaders. Within our dynamic, team-oriented environment, you'll master multimedia applications, content creation across platforms, and technical production using state-of-the-art audio/video equipment. The program also covers media history, cultural representations, legal/ethical considerations, and strategic media applications across industries including advertising, business, journalism, and entertainment.
The Media Business & Entrepreneurship track prepares students to ethically launch, manage, or contribute to media ventures. This pathway leads to careers as independent producers, studio owners, digital content creators, or founders of media channels and networks.
