The Media Studies and Production (MSP) program goes far beyond conventional communications or broadcasting degrees, equipping students for today's non-stop media landscape. By blending media theory with hands-on production, MSP ensures graduates understand both the purpose and techniques behind media work, giving them a competitive edge. As the media world constantly evolves, this degree prepares students not just for current opportunities but also for emerging roles that haven't been created yet. Leveraging the country's fourth-largest media market as our training ground, we provide essential skills while fostering professional growth and connections, enabling students to rapidly adapt and emerge as industry leaders. Within our dynamic, team-oriented program, you'll master various media formats, develop content for diverse platforms, and operate state-of-the-art equipment for audio and video production. The curriculum also covers media history, cultural and gender portrayals, legal/ethical considerations, and strategic media applications across sectors like advertising, business, journalism, and entertainment.

The Media Analysis Professional Option focuses on examining media's societal impact, including technological influences, institutional structures, audience dynamics, and media's role in shaping collective identities. This specialization prepares graduates for diverse careers such as media consulting, technical writing, advocacy work, corporate communications, academic research, and market analysis.
