The combined Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Mathematics is an intensive dual-degree initiative offered by the College of Science and Technology. Mathematics majors pursuing this accelerated track must first enroll in the undergraduate B.S. program. Students must submit their application to the department's graduate chair before their senior year begins to continue into the M.S. component. Along with fulfilling standard B.S. requirements, participants need to complete four graduate-level mathematics courses (numbered 5000 or higher) during their senior year. Upon satisfying both General Education and College requirements, the B.S. degree will be conferred. To progress to the M.S. phase, students must maintain a minimum grade of C- in all courses, with no more than two graduate courses below B-.
