Students can tailor their studies to complete the degree efficiently. Within this interdisciplinary framework, Communication Studies students choose from specialized tracks: Communication and Entrepreneurship, Contemporary Media Environments, Global Civil Society, Policy, Regulation and Advocacy, or Production (exclusive to Temple Japan students). Advanced scholars may opt for the Major of Distinction track. The program's adaptable structure provides opportunities for field experiences, internships, and study abroad programs, enhancing students' educational journey. This innovative program attracts individuals with diverse skills and interests, preparing graduates for various career paths, including advanced studies in graduate, law, or professional schools. Alumni are well-equipped for roles across the communications industry. The International Communication Concentration (ICC) offers theoretical and practical training in global and intercultural communication, helping students develop cultural awareness and communication skills. ICC participants engage with international perspectives through specialized courses at Temple's campuses, with optional study abroad components.
