The Physics Department consists of 30 faculty members, around 20 postdoctoral researchers, and more than 90 graduate students. The six-story physics building, which faces the University's central quad, houses the department. It features cutting-edge laboratories, advanced computing systems, a machine workshop, and various specialized research facilities operated by the research teams mentioned later. Perform advanced scientific investigations. Share research findings with both expert and general audiences. Exhibit comprehensive understanding of graduate-level physics, particularly in quantum theory, classical and statistical mechanics, and electromagnetism. Develop proficient laboratory skills encompassing safety protocols, data analysis, experimental interpretation, and technical methods. Utilize computational approaches for problem-solving.
