The Music Education: Preparation M.S. program is designed for individuals holding a NASM-accredited bachelor's degree without current music certification. This pathway fulfills the educational requirements for both initial and professional New York State teaching certification in Music (all grade levels).
The Music Education: Professional M.S. program serves educators who already possess New York State initial teaching certification in Music (all grades) and wish to specialize in education. This program satisfies the academic criteria for professional New York State teaching certification in Music.
The Music Education: Professional M.Mus. program caters to certified teachers with New York State initial certification in Music (all grades) who want to focus on musical studies. This curriculum meets the educational standards for professional New York State teaching certification in Music.
