Our LL.M. program provides international legal practitioners with the chance to enhance their expertise by examining US legal frameworks and judicial procedures. Graduates fulfilling all degree criteria will be awarded a Master of Laws (LL.M.), with official documentation confirming degree completion.
The LL.M. can be completed in two to three semesters, allowing students to focus on specific legal fields or pursue a general curriculum. Alongside mandatory coursework, our academic advisors offer personalized support in selecting classes and experiences aligned with individual career aspirations.
The Institute for Security Policy and Law (SPL) represents a cross-disciplinary partnership involving the College of Law, the Maxwell School, and other academic units. Seasoned professionals instruct courses covering national security legislation, counterterrorism strategies, cyber law, climate policy, international affairs, technological developments, humanitarian law, and related fields.
LL.M. candidates gain access to research initiatives, special lectures, conferences, and innovative courses featuring traditional instruction, seminar discussions, and practical simulation exercises.
