The Maxwell School's doctoral program in Public Administration caters to full-time, on-campus students pursuing academic careers in research and teaching. Every element of the program emphasizes delivering exceptional research and teaching opportunities. The curriculum ensures all participants:

Each doctoral candidate in Public Administration works with a faculty advisor who oversees their research apprenticeship. This research typically occurs within one of Maxwell's specialized research centers or institutes, depending on the student's focus area.
