The Theoretical Cosmology and Elementary Particle Physics research team explores various aspects of particle physics, gravitational phenomena, and cosmic studies. Their work encompasses investigations into dark energy and dark matter, developing innovative theories about spacetime, and forecasting how elementary particles might behave in theoretical frameworks extending beyond established physics models. Certain projects utilize advanced computational techniques on leading supercomputer systems. The team actively seeks motivated undergraduate students to collaborate on groundbreaking research about the fundamental constituents and interactions shaping our cosmos. Additionally, they integrate their scientific discoveries into academic instruction, offering courses on contemporary developments in relativity, cosmology, and particle physics.

Qualification Requirements
A baccalaureate degree in physics or its equivalent from a college or university of recognized standing. We consider applications from non-physics majors with good background in physics.
Adequate preparation for graduate study of physics as witnessed by an academic transcript of undergraduate courses.
Fluent command of the English languageforeign students for whom English is a second language should submit scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or from the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
Evidence of promise in advanced study and research.
Three strong letters of recommendation, at least two from professors in a position to write about your fitness for graduate work in physics.
Students of any race, color, sex, religion, sexual orientation, nationality or ethnic origin.
