This integrated program allows students to pursue both the Bachelor of Science (BSCE) and Master of Science (MSCE) in computer engineering sequentially. The accelerated track is structured for completion within five years. Students can apply two graduate-level courses (6 credits) toward both degrees. Bachelor's degree certification occurs after four years, with the Master's awarded upon finishing the fifth year.
Applicants must begin the combined degree application process during their junior year in Syracuse University's BSCE program. Admission depends on academic merit, following standard MS application procedures.
Graduate study approval comes after completing three undergraduate years, but full graduate status begins only after fulfilling bachelor's requirements. The undergraduate degree is conferred first. Graduate courses taken during undergrad count toward undergraduate records and GPA, with tuition covered by undergraduate rates. Necessary credits transfer to the graduate transcript as SU undergraduate credits for degree completion.
