The combined BS/MS program offers high-achieving Syracuse University students a chance to accelerate their education by fulfilling certain graduate-level requirements during their undergraduate studies.
Admitted students in this 5-year program can apply up to 6 credits of 500-level courses toward both degrees. Additionally, they may complete 6 credits of exclusive graduate coursework and have these count toward their MS degree requirements.
All transferred credits, whether shared or flagged, will be grouped together on the graduate transcript with a notation indicating their undergraduate origin. These credits won't factor into graduate GPA calculations, though students must earn at least a B grade for course transfer eligibility.
Through this credit-sharing system, students can complete both their Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Chemical Engineering within five years.
